Once again, James Duff shared his thoughts about tonight’s episode of Major Crimes with us in his Facebook Blog. It promises to be another intense episode, sending us all off into the rather long hiatus.
I promise solutions to all mysteries, including Buzz’s summer long investigation into the unlawful killing of his father and uncle, the disposition of Sanchez’s foster child, Mark, plus an exclamation point to Sharon and Andy’s relationship (that will affect their new living arrangements) in the very last frames of the episode as we fade to black.

Patrick Munn of TVWise has done some really great interviews with several cast members of Major Crimes in the past. Recently, he had a chance to talk to James Duff. The result of that chat is another fantastic piece with a lot of insight into the first half of Season 5.

TVWise: Can you tells us any more about this year’s Flynn/Provenza/Buzz episode?
James Duff: House hunting in Los Angeles can be very complicated [laughs] and open houses can lead to lots of arguments. In this episode, Flynn wants to buy this house; it’s a good price for a place in the Hollywood hills and there’s multiple offers on it. Sharon can’t come see it immediately so he wants Provenza to come and give him a second opinion and Buzz to come in and film everything. Buzz is filming and notices the agent who listed the house, as opposed to Flynn’s agent, is a really attractive woman. So they’re going through the house and they go in the back yard – a perfect entertainment back yard that has a pool that would not be out of place in Bel Air – and Buzz notices something floating in the pool and realises it’s a dead body.

James Duff posted his blog entry for today’s episode of Major Crimes. While he does not mention our favourite Lieutenant, it does sound like it is going to be another great one.
[W]e will open a big window into Sharon’s soul. We could not spend three episodes on the balance of power without watching someone who normally takes confessions give one herself, nor ignore the role of religion in our society, culture and civilization. I realize not everyone believes in God, and that this particular part of Captain Raydor’s character surprises some. But Sharon’s Catholicism is inseparable from her identity. If she is famous for playing strictly by the rules at work, it should not be a shock for viewers to find she feels even more strongly about the Ten Commandments (whether she can keep them or not).
